L'shanah tova

Happy New Year, for those of you who follow, at least periodically, that lunar calendar that's been running for 57ish centuries now. After heading downtown for an overly hippy-dippy Jewish renewal service (lesbian couple with baby in tie-dyed sling = great! Kabbalistic flow charts + accordion accompaniment, even for Yigdal = less so), I obediently ate my apple and honey. Here's to a sweet new year. Or, at least, sweeter than it is spooky.
